Personal statement

Change is uncomfortable. Ask me how I know. In the laboratory of my life, I have studied debt, entrepreneurship, autoimmunity, identity, power, and personal agency. I’ve been humbled, liberated, and reborn. I have learned—and am still learning—to grieve, feel, and listen. The self-assigned workshops continue.

I have found relief, stability, and nourishment in embodiment and somatic awareness. I drop my shoulders in the face of confusion, fear, resistance, and doubt. This is my daily practice. I relax the muscles in my face. I shift my posture. In doing so, I find resourcing, replenishment, and a deepening capacity for all of life.
